The dairy farm

This was a farm in a lost village in the Vall Fosca, in Spain. It was located in the center of a village. Being far from the city, it avoided health inspections for a long time. Although complaints from the neighbors used to be common. The smell it gave off was unbearable.
The filthy and unhealthy conditions were evident and despite the conditions in which the cows lived. There were people who approached and bought their milk.
These photos were taken at different times when I was visiting my family’s village between 2012 and 2015.
Today this dairy farm no longer exists, it was closed about six years ago because it did not pass the health inspection and there was no intention on the part of the owner to clean up the farm.
